The base of the Shade sun shade has holes, which you can use to fasten it to the ground. You can fasten the sunshade with a side pole to the ground without a base, as the accessory supplied (with the sunshade) to fasten it to the base can be used to fix it directly in the ground. The blocks to fasten the sunshades to the ground are not, however, supplied, as the type of block depends on the type of floor where you intend to fasten the sunshade. We advise you to contact  a local hardware store to find the most suitable block.
