EMU at the 61st edition of the Salone del Mobile

EMU will take part to the 61st edition of the Salone del Mobile, Hall 4 Booth H01H03, with its 2024 novelties, the result of a made-in-italy development philosophy that constantly reinterprets the way of designing and producing, in a perfect combination of innovation and continuity. As a result, Cabla, designed by Lucidi-Pevere, a modular upholstery system, as well as Emily, the new outdoor modular kitchen, the new proposals for dining tables for residential and contract use and Code, the new street contract seat.

EMU Press Preview, February 16th 2023, Milan

On Thursday February 16th, from 10am to 6pm, at the EMU Monomarca in Corso Monforte 50 (Milan), there will be a preview of some EMU novelties, which will be shown at the 2023 edition of the Salone del Mobile. An event reserved to the press.

Twins Best Outdoor Lounge for the Wallpaper Design Awards 2023

The Twins lounge chair wins the Wallpaper Design Awards 2023 for the Best Outdoor Lounge category. This seat is the result of the perfect combination of the designer’s experience and EMU’s know-how. The award has been assigned by an important jury made up of the most renowned names in the world of art, design and fashion.

Internationalization Project “Outdoor & Living System”

In November 2022, the Internationalization Project called “OUTDOOR & LIVING SYSTEM” implemented by EMU Group S.p.A. has been completed. The activities have been carried out throughout the year 2022 also thanks to the contribution of POR FESR 2014-2020 – Axis III – Action 3.3.1. – TRAVEL PUBLIC NOTICE “Export promotion projects intended for companies and their aggregate forms identified on a territorial or sectoral basis”, published in the Ordinary Supplement to the «Official Bulletin» – Notices and Competitions Series n.74 of 12/20/2021 and following amendment, CUP: G69J21020260006.

Twins by EMU wins the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022!

We are pleased to announce that Twins, designed by Sebastian Herkner, is the winner of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022, Outdoor Category. The winners were announced yesterday November 23rd on the occasion of the Archiproducts Design Awards Night in Milan.

EMU at Pink Tie Ball 2022 in support of Susan G. Komen Italia

On Friday 18 November, the luxurious hall of the Hotel St. Regis in Rome will generously host the 13th edition of the Pink Tie Ball, the Charity Gala that Susan G. Komen Italia has been organizing since 2008 with the aim to raise awareness and funds for new projects in support of women health and, specifically, as an action to combat breast cancer. During the Gala, guests will have the opportunity to support for this cause by participating in the Solidarity Shopping that Komen Italia carries out thanks to the precious contribution of its partners. EMU, already a solidarity partner of the initiative last year, will donate for this edition the beautiful vases from the Heaven collection, designed by Jean-Marie Massaud, a line that stands out for its harmonious, elegant and light design.

EMU longlisted for the Archiproducts Design Awards 2022

The Terra armchair and the Twins 3-seater sofa by EMU have officially entered the Longlist of Archiproducts Design Awards 2022 and are competing for the Winner title in the outdoor category. The winners will be announced by mid-November and then awarded on November 23, during the Archiproducts Design Awards Night in Milan. Twins is also on the list for the special Sustainability Mention, an award for products following the principles of sustainable Design, in terms of use of recyclable and biodegradable materials, production techniques that reduce polluting emissions, and minimum environmental impact during the product’s entire life cycle.

Stefan Diez awarded AW Designer of the Year 2022

Stefan Diez, who designed the Yard and Ciak collections for EMU, has been awarded by the magazine Architektur & Wohnen as designer of the year 2022. This award will be released on October 24 at the Design Post in Cologne, on the eve of the Orgatec fair. At the same time, an exhibition curated by Diez himself will be inaugurated and EMU will be partner of the event.

EMU for the Re-Think DAda & PLAY project of the University of Pavia

EMU contributes to the realization of the unparalleled Re-Think DAda & PLAY project of the University of Pavia, a project focused on the documentation of the historical architectural heritage and the development of virtual reality systems.
In order to carry out a valuable cultural action, the Experimental Laboratory of Didactics and Research has been enriched with works that are part of the culture of Italian design. Thus transforming this space into a storytelling and a place of inspiration for young minds, who shape their professional identity during their university time. The Re-Trouvé armchair, designed by Patricia Urquiola, has been selected among the design objects.
In addition, an 8-bit graphics video game is being developed giving the chance to navigate in real time and see the 3D models of the Re-trouvé and other interactive objects in virtual reality.
