EMU is the main sponsor of Green Table, the international Forum on Architecture and Design for the future, a cultural initiative in partnership with the National Institute of Architecture and the Association for Industrial Design. A physical and digital event that offers a complete overview of our contemporaneity, involving international architects, designers and philosophers. EMU shares the mission of the event and supports its commitment to spread ideas, projects and concrete solutions in response to the great challenges of protecting the environment and health.

EMU is the winner, as Best Producer of Outdoor Furniture, of the 5th Resorts and Retreats Awards, a reward launched and announced by LUXLife magazine. A recognition that emphasizes the quality of its furnishings and the increasingly close bond that the company has with the hospitality sector.

EMU, always in support of scientific research and humanitarian actions, takes part to the charity auction “Leave DeSign”, an initiative of the Kennedy Foundation of Italy Onlus Association, in collaboration with INTERNI, whose goal is to raise funds to support humanitarian programs. An auction entirely dedicated to the design and excellence of Made in Italy, that EMU proudly joins by donating Ficus, a piece of furniture inspired by the characteristics of the Cactus, a strong plant capable of resisting adversity by regenerating itself in different shapes. The works will be exhibited by Christie’s in via Clerici 5 in Milan, from the 28th to the 30th of September, and will then be auctioned on 19 November.

Also this year EMU is Sponsor of GeckoFest, a project of Spin-A | Enhancing People, a non-profit cultural association that aims to promote, develop and share world excellence in various fields, from science to performing arts. Main topic of this year is “Terrae. Of the earth and for the earth”, a theme focused on the harmony and beauty of the Earth, on respect and conservation of our planet, but also on the importance of our traditions, our history and our culture. The event will be attended by authoritative personalities, including the journalist Beppe Severgnini, the scientist of the European Space Agency Tommaso Ghidini and the cellists Andrea Rellini and Catherine Bruni. EMU renews its partnership confirming the deep bond with its land, Umbria, and its constant interest in protecting the environment and in the circular economy.

EMU is the official sponsor of the World Padel Tour Sardegna Open 2021, the most important international event of the “latest generation” sport that wins more and more fans every day. The main board includes 28 couples, male / female. The sole Italian lap in Cagliari, European City of Sport 2017, which will host all matches from the 5th to 12th of September, from pre-qualifiers to finals. EMU, as always alongside sporting events that promote outdoor activities, will be present on the playing fields and will furnish the hospitality village and that of the players. The Ciak seats will be the official chairs of the judges on the field.

From 4 to 19 September 2021, on the occasion of the Special Edition of the FuoriSalone, EMU will partcipate to the Interni Creative Connections Exhibition-Event, which will take place at the University of Milan. For the occasion, EMU will exhibit its prototype, the Bolina chair, designed by the student Amalia Puga Cividades for the Entre Redes Project and shown for the first time at the competition “Design, A voyage between Italy and Spain”.

EMU attends the Supersalone, the special edition of the Salone del Mobile 2021, with its all-round furnishing solutions, in the name of innovation and constant development of material mix. Some of the existing range extensions in aluminum and steel will be shown in a new version, with a pure wood seat in the essence of teak. Confirmed again, the collaboration with the Lucidi-Pevere studio, the industrial designers signing this year the innovative Tiki sunbed for EMU. The Apero collection is the result, however, of the partnership with Martin Drechsel, a Swiss-German designer. An other novelty is the Holly collection, consisting of an armchair, a lounge chair and a footrest, inspired by the historic and iconic sunbed, which has become an EMU best-seller.

On the occasion of the Italian Design Day 2021, the Italian Embassy in Madrid organizes an exhibition of the winning prototypes of the 2nd edition of the “Design. A journey between Italy and Spain.” The exhibition, entitled “The Identity Object” and curated by the architect Mariano Martìn, will take place from the 21th to the 30th of June at the Italian Cultural Institute in Madrid. EMU will compete in the event with the Bolina prototype, created for the Entre Redes project and designed by the Spanish student Amalia Puga Cividanes.

In collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Madrid: Interni Magazine, the Consulate General of Italy in Barcelona, the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madri, the Designer Association of Madrid and the Industrial Design Association for the Promotion of Barcelona’s Arts and design.

The Argentario Botanical Garden, the green heritage of the Marquis Corsini, opens to the public for the first time. Not just a garden, but a real point of reference that aims to promote culture in all its forms, from art to music, from literature to botanical sciences, from the circular economy to the enhancement of local products. The schedule for this summer is full of events to be experienced outdoors and surrounded by greenery. I NOTTURNI started from the 5th of June, 23 evenings in the evocative atmosphere of the garden, promoted by the Associazione Orto Botanico Corsini and organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Monte Argentario. A series of meetings are scheduled, an opportunity for exchange and comparison, between local companies and young people. EMU, partner of the event, dialogues with the human, artistic, cultural and botanical capital of this green heritage, strongly supporting the idea of ​​sustainable progress. For the occasion, the company furnishes some areas of the botanical garden.

Again this year, EMU is confirmed as Official Supplier of the CEO CLUB, a club born from the desire to combine the passions for business and golf, both synonymous with movement, growth and continuous challenges. Indeed, the competition is reserved for corporate golfers, who interpret life with creativity and love the challenge on the green: Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, Business Owner, Country Manager and Chief Operating Officer. 7 stages of true golf scheduled on the national territory, in excellent golfing locations.
