POR FESR 2014-2020

EMU Group S.p.A., leader nel settore dell’arredo esterno, ha recentemente potenziato il proprio impianto produttivo grazie a nuovi investimenti, sostenuti finanziariamente dall’Unione Europea tramite il POR FESR 2014-2020 Asse III Azione 3.4.1 “Aiuti per investimenti in macchinari, impianti e beni tangibili e accompagnamento dei processi di riorganizzazione e ristrutturazione aziendale”. Questo programma di finanziamento è finalizzato a supportare le imprese nel loro percorso di modernizzazione e ottimizzazione delle capacità produttive.

Gli investimenti di EMU Group S.p.A., dettagliati qui, includono l’acquisizione di tecnologie avanzate come il Centro di Curvatura SOCO Modello SB-52X10A-2S-V-U e un’isola robotizzata composta da tre robot antropomorfi tipo Comau NJ130. Queste nuove aggiunte tecnologiche permetteranno a EMU di aumentare significativamente l’efficienza della produzione e di migliorare la qualità dei prodotti, consolidando ulteriormente la sua posizione come leader nel design e nella manifattura di mobili da esterno.

Con questi avanzamenti, EMU non solo rafforza la propria capacità produttiva ma dimostra anche un impegno costante verso l’innovazione e la sostenibilità, pilastri fondamentali della filosofia aziendale. Thanks to financial European Union support POR FESR 2014-2020 “Aid for investment in machinery, equipment and tangible goods and accompaniment of reorganization processes and company restructuring” EMU Group S.p.A. completes its innovative investments made up of the following integrated systems:

– CNC TUBE BENDERS – TUBE BENDING CELL “SOCO LTD” MODEL SB-52X10A-2S-V-U;
– CHAIRS WELDING AND DEBURRING COOPERATIVE ROBOTIZED SYSTEM.

EMU for the competition “Design. A journey between Italy and Spain”

EMU takes part in the competition “Design. A journey between Italy and Spain “, promoted by the Italian Embassy in Madrid in collaboration with Interni Magazine. The aim of the project is to support the value of Italian design in Spain, favoring the connection between the Spanish creative world and the Italian companies within the sector. The selected projects will be exhibited at the University of Milan, at the Interni Creative Connections exhibition, from 20 to 30 April 2020, during the week of the Salone del Mobile in Milan. EMU is the company that is taking care of the Entre Redes prototype by Amalia Puga Cividanes, one of the finalist projects.

EMU at the Monographic Exhibition dedicated to Patricia Urquiola

From January the 29th to March the 1st, EMU takes part to a special project on the occasion of the Madrid Design Festival, the event conceived and created by La Fábrica and directed by Álvaro Matías, which turns Madrid into the Capital of Design. We’re talking about the Monographic Exhibition ‘Nature Morte Vivante’, dedicated to Patricia Urquiola. Among her works, the Re-trouvé collection, realized by the designer for EMU. The fair is hosted in the Fernán Gómez Centro Cultural de la Villa, in Plaza Colón in Madrid and tells about the projects and collaborations that have defined Patricia Urquiola‘s professional path and her creative approach to research, materials, technologies as well as its links with the most important brands in the design world.

EMU Sponsor of Filippo Poponesi at the Arrowhead 135 Miles

Filippo Poponesi, the first Italian to cross the finishing line of the Arrowhead135, one of the most extreme and difficult races in the world: 217 km amid snow and freezing cold, with temperatures down to -30° at night, under which runners must tow a sled with all the necessary equipment to complete the path in total self-sufficiency. Resisting the adverse weather conditions and the flow of time: a real endurance test, an ambitious project in line with the challenges that EMU has always faced, guaranteeing their products’ durability, strictly subjected to procedures that guarantee high quality standards.

EMU and Costa Smeralda – The most sensational Italy is on the sea

Telling the Italian Design: this is the concept behind the creation of Costa Smeralda, the new flagship of Costa Crociere, a project in which EMU was involved as one of the leading companies in “Made in Italy furniture”. Costa Smeralda is, in fact, the first ship to be fueled with Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the cleanest fossil fuel in the world, a responsible innovation which is a value shared with EMU. The entire ship was designed taking inspiration from Italy, a real Tour in the Bel Paese. EMU furnishes with Holly the deck, one of the most delicate and demanding areas for the outdoor sector, the area most exposed to different climatic and atmospheric conditions. An important task for EMU, to which the company responds with a know-how developed over 70 years of manufacturing experience that guarantees the durability of the products and high quality standards.

EMU at IMM and M&O with its Novelties for 2020

Also this year EMU will be present at the events of IMM in Cologne and M&O in Paris with its Novelties for 2020, young and functional design solutions, which arise from an increasingly future-oriented business approach. Result of a responsible and sustainable production, with low ecological impact, the New Entries for 2020 are versatile, furnishings that definitively eliminate the boundaries between inside and outside, with bright colors and far from monochromaticity.

EMU at Host 41th edition with its Contract 2020 Novelties

Innovation, sustainable quality and multi-materials: these are Emu novelties distinctive features for Ho.Re.Ca sector, which from the 18th to 22nd of October will be shown at HostMilano 2019 Edition, at Rho-Fiera Milano, Hall 11 Stand D35 E36. Once again, EMU confirms itself as a world leader for outdoor furniture design for contract environments, able to adapt to any type of space reserved for reception. Among the brand’s novelties for 2020: RioR50 Collection, designed by the designers Anton Cristell and Emanuel Gargano; Carousel Collection, designed by Sebastian Herkner; Como by Angeletti-Ruzza studio; Breeze and Ficus, design Chiaramonte-Marin and Star Collection novelties, lounge chair and sofa.

EMU at Saatchi Gallery in London with I-MADE project

EMU will be present at the inaugural edition of I-MADE (Manufacture, Art and Design Exhibition), the first exhibition in London solely dedicated to the italian design and manufacturing, that will take place at the Saatchi Gallery during the London Design Festival. Scheduled from the 19th to the 22nd of September 2019, I-MADE explores through conferences and workshops not only the beauty, but also functional and innovative designs that have shaped the horizons of Italian manufacturing and continue to influence design globally. On the occasion of the famous exhibition, edited by the renowend architect Giulio Cappellini, RioR50 collection has been selected for EMU. It is a synthesis of tradition and innovation of an iconic product. A celebratory reissue designed by Anton Cristell and Emanuel Gargano, designed to pay homage to the 50th anniversary of the historic model.

EMU partner of Marie Claire Maison Homi at Outdoor Home & Dehors

EMU takes part in the initiative Marie Claire Maison Homi, inside the set-up of HOMI Outdoor HOME&DEHOR, edited by the architectural firm AR-OStudio. HOMI, the annual Lifestyles Exhibition, will be held from the 13th to the 16th of September 2019 in the Rho Fiera Milano unit. The set-up of Marie Claire Maison will focus on a new concept inspired by Bruce Chatwin’s travel stories and the iconic novel Tea in the Sahara by Paul Bowles. The aim is to raise awareness of sustainability, integrating outdoor and indoor spaces in harmony with the surrounding ecosystem. EMU is committed to supporting eco-sustainability by setting up the spaces with Lyze collections by Florent Coirier and Cross, by Rodolfo Dordoni.

EMU sponsor at the 30th edition of Palermo Ladies Open

On July the 20th for its 30th edition, curtain raised again for Palermo Ladies Open, the prestigious WTA tennis tournament which takes place in Palermo until July the 28th. As official sponsor, EMU, with its Ciak Director chairs, furnishes the areas reserved to the Press Gallery, the Line Judges and the Players.
