At Salone Nautico 2022, EMU, together with Umbria Nautical Cluster, presents its latest collections, an exemplary product of technological research, versatile design, and a broad range of materials and colours. A primary focus on detail and quality processes has allowed the company to experiment and innovate, bringing aesthetic and technical needs together in perfect harmony. The result are furnishings with exceptional performance, designed to withstand the most adverse weather conditions in the most delicate and demanding areas of hospitality at sea.

In 2020, Costa Crociere selected EMU as a partner company for its Costa Smeralda and Costa Toscana projects, the Flagships of Costa Crociere and the first ships to be powered by Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), the cleanest fossil fuel in the world. An important responsibility for EMU, to which it responded with a sustainable, 100% Made in Italy production philosophy, and Expertise acquired in more than 70 years of manufacturing experience in the production of furniture for the contract sector. EMU’s Holly sunbeds an Shine armchairs furnish the cruise ship’s outdoor areas, the part most exposed to climatic and atmospheric conditions. The cruise ship designs were inspired by the Italian spirit, a genuine Tour through the Beautiful Country showing Italy at its best on board.

For this year’s Salone Nautico, EMU proposes collections in which materials such as aluminium and the EMU-Tex covering ensure extremely high resistance to weathering, humidity, and salt air. A longevity also in line with the principles of sustainability guiding the circular economy.
