Fundada en 1951 para la producción de equipos de transmisión para uso militar, EMU pronto se convirtió en la empresa pionera en conocimientos técnicos para el procesamiento y la protección de metales. El sillón Carousel, diseñado por Sebastian Herkner, cautivó al jurado por su concepto y diseño y fue galardonado con el prestigioso reconocimiento de los Archiproducts Design Awards 2020 por la categoría Outdoor.

En ocasión del Italian Design Day 2020, se presenta el video del concurso «Il Design. Un viaje entre Italia y España ”, en el que EMU participó como empresa de prototipos del Proyecto Entre Redes. Una colaboración que da testimonio de la profunda relación que la empresa tiene con jóvenes talentos emergentes y que nos muestra cómo el diseño, la planificación y la innovación pueden mantener viva la tradición artesanal. Stefano Zajotti, Gerente de Diseño y Comunicación de EMU, y la alumna Amalia Puga Cividades, creadora del proyecto, hablan de ello en este video, en el minuto 4:19.

EMU estará presente en la cita de Hotel 2020, del 19 al 22 de octubre en Bolzano, con importantes novedades, nuevas colecciones y ampliaciones de gama. Proyectos inéditos, fruto de una ética empresarial centrada en el made in Italy, la sostenibilidad, la innovación y un uso aún más transversal del producto.

EMU es el patrocinador oficial de la 77ª edición del Internazionali BNL d’Italia. Una confirmación, una vez más este año, de su profundo vínculo con los más importantes eventos deportivos internacionales que promueven la actividad al aire libre. El evento, programado del 12 al 21 de septiembre en el Foro Itálico de Roma, se llevará a cabo sin la presencia del público tras el veto específico del Comité Técnico Científico, plenamente implementado por la Región de Lazio. Como es habitual, los jueces de línea tendrán a su disposición los asientos de la línea Ciak, sillas oficiales de la competición. Muchas de las colecciones de EMU, incluidas Re-trouvé, Riviera, Terramare, Tami, Nef y Nova, amueblarán el área de relajación dedicada a los jugadores, diseñada para hacer más cómoda la espera de los partidos.

Starting from Monday May 4th our production units are finally enabled to start activity again, since the conditions have matured to resume safely.

As you know, we steadily kept in touch with you in the past weeks holding the services working from home, we even managed to start dispatching again in the past few days.

We took advantage of this phase of reorganization for security purposes also to develop ideas and solutions to better enjoy the new situations that reality is proposing to us.

EMU, for 70 years, has been a champion of togetherness, of the pleasure of living our outdoor spaces, both residential and public.

We may figure out our future with «social distancing», yet without renouncing this vocation of ours but has led us to think of new ways of interpreting space.

April 03, 2020: We support our customers in compliance with the rules.

As per the new provisions issued by the Italian government, dpcm April 1, 2020 on COVID-19, the production stop has been extended until April 13th.

This additional effort is necessary to defeat this pandemic, convinced that we need, now, to strictly observe the provisions for the common well of the whole community.

Our duly authorized staff is overseeing the EMU production departments to keep them in perfect working conditions and we have adapted the workstations to the new standards of social distance.

We will be ready to offer you the maximum assistance and our best service as soon as the lock down is finished.

EMU Group S.p.A., leader nel settore dell’arredo esterno, ha recentemente potenziato il proprio impianto produttivo grazie a nuovi investimenti, sostenuti finanziariamente dall’Unione Europea tramite il POR FESR 2014-2020 Asse III Azione 3.4.1 «Aiuti per investimenti in macchinari, impianti e beni tangibili e accompagnamento dei processi di riorganizzazione e ristrutturazione aziendale». Questo programma di finanziamento è finalizzato a supportare le imprese nel loro percorso di modernizzazione e ottimizzazione delle capacità produttive.

Gli investimenti di EMU Group S.p.A., dettagliati qui, includono l’acquisizione di tecnologie avanzate come il Centro di Curvatura SOCO Modello SB-52X10A-2S-V-U e un’isola robotizzata composta da tre robot antropomorfi tipo Comau NJ130. Queste nuove aggiunte tecnologiche permetteranno a EMU di aumentare significativamente l’efficienza della produzione e di migliorare la qualità dei prodotti, consolidando ulteriormente la sua posizione come leader nel design e nella manifattura di mobili da esterno.
