EMU is the main sponsor of Green Table, the international Forum on Architecture and Design for the future, a cultural initiative in partnership with the National Institute of Architecture and the Association for Industrial Design. A physical and digital event that offers a complete overview of our contemporaneity, involving international architects, designers and philosophers. EMU shares the mission of the event and supports its commitment to spread ideas, projects and concrete solutions in response to the great challenges of protecting the environment and health.

EMU is the winner, as Best Producer of Outdoor Furniture, of the 5th Resorts and Retreats Awards, a reward launched and announced by LUXLife magazine. A recognition that emphasizes the quality of its furnishings and the increasingly close bond that the company has with the hospitality sector.

EMU, always in support of scientific research and humanitarian actions, takes part to the charity auction « Leave DeSign », an initiative of the Kennedy Foundation of Italy Onlus Association, in collaboration with INTERNI, whose goal is to raise funds to support humanitarian programs. An auction entirely dedicated to the design and excellence of Made in Italy, that EMU proudly joins by donating Ficus, a piece of furniture inspired by the characteristics of the Cactus, a strong plant capable of resisting adversity by regenerating itself in different shapes. The works will be exhibited by Christie’s in via Clerici 5 in Milan, from the 28th to the 30th of September, and will then be auctioned on 19 November.

Also this year EMU is Sponsor of GeckoFest, a project of Spin-A | Enhancing People, a non-profit cultural association that aims to promote, develop and share world excellence in various fields, from science to performing arts. Main topic of this year is “Terrae. Of the earth and for the earth”, a theme focused on the harmony and beauty of the Earth, on respect and conservation of our planet, but also on the importance of our traditions, our history and our culture. The event will be attended by authoritative personalities, including the journalist Beppe Severgnini, the scientist of the European Space Agency Tommaso Ghidini and the cellists Andrea Rellini and Catherine Bruni. EMU renews its partnership confirming the deep bond with its land, Umbria, and its constant interest in protecting the environment and in the circular economy.

EMU est le sponsor officiel du World Padel Tour Sardegna Open 2021, l’événement international le plus important du sport de “dernière génération” qui gagne chaque jour de plus en plus de fans. Le tableau principal comprend 28 couples, hommes/femmes. La seule étape italienne à Cagliari, Ville européenne du sport 2017, qui accueillera tous les matchs du 5 au 12 septembre, des pré-qualifications à la finale. EMU, toujours aux côtés d’événements sportifs favorisant les activités en pleine air, sera présente sur les terrains de jeux et meublera le village hospitalité et celui des joueurs. Les chaises Ciak seront les chaises officiels des juges sur le terrain.

Du 4 au 19 septembre 2021, à l’occasion de l’édition spéciale FuoriSalone, EMU participera à l’exposition-événement Interni Creative Connections, qui se déroulera à l’Université de Milan. Pour l’occasion, EMU exposera son prototype, la chaise Bolina, conçue par l’étudiante Amalia Puga Cividades pour le Projet Entre Redes et présentée pour la première fois dans le cadre du concours « Design, un voyage entre l’Italie et l’Espagne ».

EMU prend part au Supersalone, l’édition spéciale du Salone del Mobile 2021, avec des solutions d’ameublement de plus en plus complètes, au nom de l’innovation et du développement constant du mélange de matériaux. Certaines des extensions de gammes existantes en aluminium et en acier sont proposées sous une nouvelle forme avec une assise en bois pur dans l’essence du teak. La collaboration avec le studio Lucidi-Pevere est reconfirmée, le duo de designers industriels qui signe cette année l’innovant lit solaire Tiki pour EMU. La collection Apero est cependant le résultat du partenariat avec Martin Drechsel, un designer suisse-allemand. La collection Holly est nouvelle, composée d’un fauteuil, une chaise avec accoudoirs et un repose-pieds, inspirés du lit solaire historique et emblématique, devenu un best-seller d’EMU.

Pavillon 2 – Stand J19

A l’occasion de l’Italian Design Day 2021, l’ambassade d’Italie à Madrid organise une exposition des prototypes gagnants de la 2ème édition de « Le Design. Un voyage entre l’Italie et l’Espagne ». L’exposition, intitulée « L’objet d’identité » et organisée par l’architecte Mariano Martìn, aura lieu du 21 au 30 juin à l’Institut culturel italien de Madrid. EMU participera à l’événement avec le prototype Bolina, créé pour le projet Entre Redes et conçu par l’étudiante espagnole Amalia Puga Cividanes.

En collaboration avec l’ambassade d’Italie à Madrid: Interni Magazine, le consulat général d’Italie à Barcelone, le Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madri, l’Association des designers de Madrid et l’Association du design industriel pour la promotion des arts et du design de Barcelone.

Le Jardin botanique de l’Argentario, patrimoine vert du Marquis Corsini, s’ouvre pour la première fois au public. Pas seulement un jardin, mais un véritable point de référence qui vise à promouvoir la culture sous toutes ses formes, de l’art à la musique, de la littérature aux sciences botaniques, de l’économie circulaire à la valorisation des produits locaux. Le programme de cet été déborde d’événements à vivre en plein air entourés de verdure. A’ partir du 5 juin ont commencé I NOTTURNI, 23 soirées dans l’atmosphère évocatrice du jardin, promues par l’Associazione Orto Botanico Corsini et organisées en collaboration avec la municipalité de Monte Argentario. Une série de rencontres sont programmées, occasion d’échange et de comparaison, entre les entreprises locales et les jeunes. EMU, partenaire de l’événement, dialogue avec le capital humain, artistique, culturel et botanique de ce patrimoine vert, soutenant fortement l’idée de progrès durable. Pour l’occasion, l’entreprise aménage certains espaces du jardin botanique.

Again this year, EMU is confirmed as Official Supplier of the CEO CLUB, a club born from the desire to combine the passions for business and golf, both synonymous with movement, growth and continuous challenges. Indeed, the competition is reserved for corporate golfers, who interpret life with creativity and love the challenge on the green: Chief Executive Officer, Chairman, Business Owner, Country Manager and Chief Operating Officer. 7 stages of true golf scheduled on the national territory, in excellent golfing locations.
