Cette année encore, EMU installe son espace d’exposition pour la section verte et extérieure dans les prestigieux magasins de la Rinascente, dans les grands bâtiments historiques des villes de Milan et Catania. Un coin temporaire où exposer une sélection des nouvelles collections EMU, en parfaite harmonie avec le concept de design et Made in Italy qui anime ce pôle d’innovation.

70 ans, un long voyage fait de qualité, durabilité, recherche, innovation et vocation internationale. Fondée en 1951 pour la production d’équipements de transmission à usage militaire, EMU est rapidement devenue l’entreprise pionnière du savoir-faire technique pour le traitement et la protection des métaux. Aujourd’hui l’entreprise est le fruit de la forte identité acquise au fil des ans et son savoir-faire se renouvelle chaque jour avec l’application de techniques de production innovantes, une surveillance rigoureuse de toutes les étapes du processus et une attention particulière à la protection de l’environnement. #whyemu donne une voix aux designers et révèle l’essence la plus cachée des produits, afin de comprendre leur caractère, inspirations, créativité et émotions. Certains des designers avec lesquels nous travaillons ont tourné une vidéo pour nous parler de leur relation avec EMU, de la première esquisse au développement du produit, une expérience professionnelle mais surtout humaine.

Le fauteuil Carousel, conçu par Sebastian Herkner, a séduit le jury pour son concept et son design et a reçu la prestigieuse reconnaissance de l’Archiproducts Design Awards 2020 pour la catégorie Outdoor.

A l’occasion du Italian Design Day 2020, a été presenté la vidéo du concours « Le Design. Un voyage entre l’Italie et l’Espagne », auquel EMU a participé en tant qu’entreprise de prototypage pour le projet Entre Redes. Une collaboration qui témoigne la relation profonde que l’entreprise entretient avec les jeunes talents émergents et qui nous montre comment le design, le projet et l’innovation peuvent maintenir vivante la tradition artisanale. Stefano Zajotti, Responsable Design & Communication d’EMU, et l’étudiante Amalia Puga Cividades, créatrice du projet, en parlent dans cette vidéo, à 4:19 minutes.

EMU sera présent à la foire de Hôtel 2020, du 19 au 22 octobre à Bolzano, avec des innovations importantes, de nouvelles collections et des extensions de gamme. Un projet inédit, fruit d’une éthique d’entreprise centrée sur le made in Italy, la durabilité, l’innovation et une utilisation encore plus transversale du produit.

EMU est le sponsor officiel de la 77e édition de Internazionali BNL d’Italia. Une confirmation, cette année encore, de son lien profond avec les événements sportifs internationaux les plus importants, qui promeuvent les activités en plein air. L’événement, prévu du 12 au 21 septembre au Foro Italico de Rome, se déroulera sans la présence du public suite au veto spécifique du Comité Technique Scientifique, pleinement mis en œuvre par la région Lazio. Comme d’habitude, les sièges de la collection Ciak seront les sièges officiels des juges de ligne. De nombreuses collections de EMU, notamment Re-trouvé, Riviera, Terramare, Tami, Nef et Nova, aménageront l’ espace détente dédié aux joueurs, conçu pour rendre l’attente des matchs plus confortable.

Starting from Monday May 4th our production units are finally enabled to start activity again, since the conditions have matured to resume safely.

As you know, we steadily kept in touch with you in the past weeks holding the services working from home, we even managed to start dispatching again in the past few days.

We took advantage of this phase of reorganization for security purposes also to develop ideas and solutions to better enjoy the new situations that reality is proposing to us.

EMU, for 70 years, has been a champion of togetherness, of the pleasure of living our outdoor spaces, both residential and public.

We may figure out our future with « social distancing », yet without renouncing this vocation of ours but has led us to think of new ways of interpreting space.

It is from this vision that TOGETHER was born, a divider that highlights sharing but safeguards distancing.

April 03, 2020: We support our customers in compliance with the rules.

As per the new provisions issued by the Italian government, dpcm April 1, 2020 on COVID-19, the production stop has been extended until April 13th.

This additional effort is necessary to defeat this pandemic, convinced that we need, now, to strictly observe the provisions for the common well of the whole community.

Our duly authorized staff is overseeing the EMU production departments to keep them in perfect working conditions and we have adapted the workstations to the new standards of social distance.

We will be ready to offer you the maximum assistance and our best service as soon as the lock down is finished.
